Halma Rib at Cannes and Genoa: the world debut of the HR35 leads the growth of the Sicilian shipyard

Halma Rib‘s nautical autumn will open with a double presence at the two most prestigious events of the European season. The Sicilian shipyard will be a key player at both the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Genoa International Boat Show, bringing to the water a lineup that testifies to the brand’s rapid evolution. Attention will inevitably be drawn to the highly anticipated HR35, which will make its world debut in Cannes before being exhibited in Genoa. At the French show, the new model will be joined by its smaller brother, the HR30; while in Liguria, the HR25—the smallest in the range—will join the two.

In Cannes, Halma Rib will exhibit the HR35 and HR30 at stand Power 241 in the Port Canto area. Both models will feature the new integrated T-Top, a solution that reinforces the boats’ sporty and elegant character. A few days later, in Genoa, the shipyard will present the entire Marine range consisting of the HR25, HR30, and HR35, offering visitors a complete overview of its construction philosophy.

The true protagonist of the season is undoubtedly the HR35, the first cabin model in the Marine range and the shipyard’s new flagship. With this vessel, Halma Rib makes a decisive leap into a higher category, entering the maxi-rib segment intended for cruising without sacrificing the sporty lines that have characterized the brand from the start. 

Measuring 11.30 meters in length with a beam of 3.85 meters, the HR35 draws on the experience gained from previous models, reinterpreting their stylistic language on a larger scale. The signature XXL bow, now the shipyard’s hallmark trait, significantly expands the livable deck space, housing a large sunbed and a spacious aft dinette with a U-shaped sofa and facing seats, designed for enjoying the sea with company.

But the real news lies below deck. The HR35 is the first Halma Rib equipped with a cabin, designed to offer a level of comfort previously unseen in the shipyard’s production. Thanks to the hull’s remarkable beam, the double bed makes full use of the available volume, while the bathroom with a separate shower stall allows for cruises featuring one or more overnight stays. Refined materials, meticulous finishes, and a generously sized console complete a design clearly aimed at the premium segment.

The outlook on the performance front is equally promising. The HR35 adopts a deep-V hull derived from the experience developed with the HR30 and is engineered for outboard engines ranging from twin 350 to twin 500 horsepower, a setup that hints at high speeds combined with safe navigation even in rough seas. At the Cannes and Genoa boat shows, the engine package will feature twin 425 horsepower motors.

Alongside the new flagship, the HR30 will be on display—the model that marked the brand’s growth and defined its stylistic identity. With a length of 8.10 meters, a beam of 3 meters, and an exceptionally spacious deck for its category standard, the HR25 maintains the same design language as its larger siblings while providing ample sunbathing areas, onboard comfort, and a hull engineered to ensure stability and high performance. The project was developed to satisfy both the sporty boater and anyone seeking a versatile vessel for day trips or professional use.
