Ice 56: luxury, sportiness and innovation in just 56 feet

Just a glance at the first images is enough to realize you’re looking at something never seen before. The new Ice 56 is a yacht radically different from what Ice Yachts has accustomed us to so far— a boat designed to exceed expectations, taking quality, comfort, and design to the highest level. The signature remains that of Felci Yachts Design, continuing its prolific partnership with the Salvirola-based shipyard, but the result is extraordinarily innovative.

The Ice 56 is a true maxi yacht developed within just 56 feet, featuring a hull that blends sportiness with luxury. For Ice Yachts, it’s the ultimate confirmation of its leadership as a benchmark shipyard for high-performance, prestigious sailing yachts. The new model builds on the success of the Ice 52—which boasts 20 units built and appreciated worldwide—elevating it to new standards of excellence.

With a design that retains the shipyard’s signature sporty DNA, the Ice 56 not only delivers outstanding sailing performance but also offers unmatched comfort and top-tier craftsmanship, typically found on larger yachts. It is a 56-footer, but it feels more like an 80. In fact, the exterior design of the Ice 56 is directly derived from the new 80-foot Maxi Ice, featuring a sleek, sporty deckhouse with a major new element: an increased glass surface, flooding the interiors with natural light and providing breathtaking panoramic views of the horizon.

The balance between elegance and functionality is also evident in the cockpit, which, with its 5-meter maximum beam, offers incredibly spacious areas designed for ultimate comfort. The height-adjustable table can be easily converted into a large sunbathing area, making it the perfect space to relax while cruising.

The interiors are equally exciting. The Ice 56 was designed by Felci Yacht Design to offer maximum comfort and privacy, with a refined and functional layout. The owner’s cabin, located forward, is one of its standout features, offering a spacious, bright environment with a generously sized bathroom and a fully separate shower. Every detail is designed to ensure the utmost privacy and well-being for the owner.

In addition to the owner’s cabin, the sleeping zone includes two more cabins, each with its own dedicated bathroom, providing comfortable and intimate accommodation for guests. Upon request, a fourth “watch cabin” can replace the third bathroom, offering a completely independent space with a small dedicated toilet.

The large open-space dinette is also worth mentioning, with the galley positioned forward, following the layout seen on the Ice 62 Targa, 66, and 80 models—creating the ideal space for socializing and relaxing on board. At the stern, the generously sized tender garage can accommodate a tender up to 3 meters long.

Ultimately, every environment on the Ice 56 is designed to strike the perfect balance between functionality, luxury, and refined design. Felci Yacht Design confirms: “The Ice 56 is the result of meticulous research into the evolving needs of the most discerning owners. We wanted to maintain the sportiness and maneuverability that distinguish every Ice Yachts model without compromising luxury and build quality. The Ice 56 represents the perfect synthesis of performance and comfort, setting a new benchmark for those seeking an exclusive and cutting-edge yacht”.

The launch of the Ice 56 reaffirms Ice Yachts’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the nautical sector, while maintaining its hallmark build quality, refined design, and attention to detail. The yacht is already under construction at Ice Yachts’ shipyards in both fast cruiser and race versions, catering to more performance-oriented owners.
