A new launch is in the pipeline for the ICE Yachts shipyard, which at the end of next month will put its latest model in the water: the ICE 70 Grand Comfort.
An evolution of the two previous models, the latest addition further continues the yard’s expansion, taking the key concepts of these boats – namely quality and comfort – higher and higher. Once again, this 70-footer stems from the collaboration, already successfully tested for the two predecessors, with the Felci Yacht Design studio and the ICE Yachts technical staff.
The spaces on the ICE 70 GC have an extra gear, and it is precisely on this aspect that the yard has put particular attention to further improve the 70 footer. Let’s see how…
ICE Yacht 70 Grand Comfort: exterior design
The deck, studied down to the smallest detail, is a perfect balance between the needs of relaxed cruising and racing life, which requires space, safety and efficiency. The maxi dodger and the two bimini are particularly elegant and functionally protect the cockpit area.
The stern
The stern garage can accommodate a rigid-keel tender of over 3 metres. There is also a small carbon crane, for which the yard holds the exclusive patent, to facilitate loading/unloading the shadow boat. The folding transom is large and easily accessible.
Interior
In the aft area is the captain’s cabin with en-suite facilities and the U-shaped galley, directly connected to each other but at the same time separated from the main saloon. In the centre of the boat is the saloon with a large dinette and dining table on the port side, while on the starboard side is another relaxation area with another sofa.
A small
Ensuring the important performance of the ICE 70 GC is the Yanmar 230 HP engine that enables fast sailing in no wind, although as mentioned before, this yacht can also sail in the lowest winds.
What to say about this new ICE Yachts jewel… the craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail of the yard in building these custom yachts is impressive, the quality and space on board is truly breathtaking, and all that is left is the desire to see it being built and test it, as soon as possible.
