Karnic SL 602: the realm of versatility

From Cyprus to Genoa to present versatile boats designed to suit different needs. Karnic Boats is one of the boatyards that make internationality a distinctive feature of the Genoa Boat Show which, in turn, therefore becomes a precious showcase for brands of all around the world. Traded in Italy by Selva Marine, Karnic joined the event with its new SL 602, a boat that features all the hallmarks of the boatyard.

With an overall length of just 7 metres, the boat – presented just a few days before in Southampton – offers extreme rigidity and positive flotation due to all-composite, foam injected hull structure that is a typical construction feature of Karnic Boats.

Streamlined design and aggressive styling along with special focus on safety and genuine beauty are the key features of the Karnic SL 602. High sides outline the contours of the boat by ensuring high safety standards.

Similarly, handrails run along the whole windshield perimeter, by offering sturdy supports when moving to the bow.

The topside, characterized by a very high freeboards, ensure dry ride.

As already said, one among the strengths of the Karnic SL 602 is her extreme flexibility in uses. In the stern, in fact, the owner can choose among four different layouts that can be created and converted through a simple re-arrangement of the central sofa.

By stretching the sofa on the starboard side, for example, the owner can cover one of the two livewells (designed for fishermen) and obtain a wide relaxation area. The same space, with a different configuration, can function as a sun pad, by lowering the dinette table and using additional cushions. Furthermore, the owner can choose between two different – both retractable – pilot seat layouts with stand-up driving possibility.

Two side-decks with a step lead to the boat, equipped with a pulpit, an anchor locker and optional windlass. The whole area can be completed with cushions and transformed into a wide sun pad.

A sliding door shelters the entryway to the cabin, which boasts a really surprising size for a boat of this size. The owner can change fitting and use the room as a double berth or a dinette equipped with chemical toilet.

In addition to standard features, the boatyard offers a multitude of optional equipment, such as the SeaDek bathing platform and the Karnic Deluxe steering wheel.

The Karnic SL 602 exhibited at the Genoa International Boat Show was fitted with a Selva Marine 100hp engine. The maximum power installable is equal to 175 hp.
