The cycle path map of the Coastal Park in the Ligurian Riviera.

This is why we’ve decided to offer to you a virtual tour in one of the most beautiful places of Italy, where you can discover and enjoy some charming itineraries, places and small towns.

We are in the coastal zone of a larger area entirely owned by Cozzi Parodi Group.

In 2001, the Genoa-Ventimiglia railway line running along the coast was abandoned and moved to the mountain. The seat of the old rails has been requalified and converted into the present cycle path of the Coastal Park of the Ligurian Riviera. A very charming place, between sea and mountain. It’s the longest cycle path of the Mediterranean (24 Km) and it links Ospitaletto to San Lorenzo along a flat path flanked by the sea. It’s open to pedestrians, bikers, rollers and push scooters.

ciclabileIf you arrive at Marina di Portosole, Marina degli Aregai or Marina di San Lorenzo the access to the cycle path is ideal. Bike rental services are available in all the three towns and there are many snack points along the path.

The cycle path is perfect to have a walk, a ride or to discover some town like Bussana Vecchia ( in the municipality of San Remo), the city of artists. The town, abandoned after an earthquake in the XIX century, is now inhabited by a community of artists who has restored it. Or, between San Lorenzo and Imperia, there is Dolcedo, known as the town of bridges and olive oil mills, where you can visit the St. Lawrence’s oratory and the Bridge of the Knights of Malta.

If you prefer to do some sport, you can even enjoy some mountain bike or downhill paths. The itinerary of Towers is very panoramic. It begins at the mouth of the Argentina stream and it joins the cycle path at San Lorenzo, running along Taggia, Castellaro, Pompeiana and Lingueglietta.
