Magazzù MX–13 Gran Coupé : innovative lines and spacious interiors for the new amazing creation by Cantieri Magazzù

Magazzù, the historic Palermo-based shipyard with over 60 years of history, presents, in world premier, its latest masterpiece: the new Magazzù MX-13 Grand Coupé.

The new Maxi Rib is an evolution of the successful MX–13 Coupé, with which it shares the well-known hull lines. But similarities goes further because the interior and exterior design is completely new.

“ We get to the new Magazzù MX-13 Gran Coupé initially following the requests of one of our historic customers who, having a clear idea about what he wanted, directed us towards this evolution” – Renato Magazzù states – The result is a model which, while remaining faithful to our image, has some special features which differentiate it from what we have built so far”.

The interior design is completely new, with larger spaces and greater headroom below deck. Outside, the introduction of a light and refined deckhouse allows more natural light to enter, integrating perfectly with the sleek lines of the new Magazzù MX–13 Gran Coupé

In addition to enhancing the brightness of the interiors, the newly designed deckhouse creates a circulation that is similar to the walk-around models where, thanks to the handrails and in total safety, the owner can enjoy the foredeck even while sailing.

Multiple engine options are available for this Maxi Rib which can be fitted with both sterndrive and outboard propulsion. Power ranges from the 800HP delivered by the twin Volvo Penta D6 engines to a maximum of 1,200HP which makes this dreamlike boat fly on the water at almost 55 knots.

The new Magazzù MX -13 Gran Coupé marks an important new path for our shipyard – Tina Magazzù says – With this new model, in fact, we complement the production of our historic Maxi Rib with a line of boats which can offer larger interior volumes, while maintaining the aesthetic characteristics that make all Magazzù yachts unique and immediately recognizable”.

The newly restyled Magazzù MX–13 Coupé continues to be the favourite option among the “sportiest” owners.

The 13-meter line is highly successful for Magazzù. For the time being, 4 models of the range – two MX-13 and two MX-13 Gran Coupé (which testifies the enthusiasm with which the model has been received) – are under construction.

All boats are in phase of completion and are scheduled to be launched in early spring. They will be available to both journalists and customers for the usual sea trials.

With the MX–13 Gran Coupé, Cantieri Magazzù continues to innovate and develop a range which has been the reference point in the segment of luxury Maxi Ribs for years.
