Built for a French client, this nearly 17-meter Maxi Rib joined the Signature Collection in 2024 when the current owner, captivated by the design of the M-16, asked Cantieri Magazzù to create a version with outboard engines and custom interiors.
The result is a fully bespoke project that preserves the iconic lines of the M-16 while incorporating an ingenious system to cover the three outboards. In this version, the system not only conceals the engines but also, per the owner’s request, integrates a large additional cabin beneath the aft sundeck featuring a private entrance that is almost imperceptible from the outside. The layout of the Lower Deck is also highly customized, with this MX-16 offering the already spacious Master Cabin its own en-suite facilities.
With this magnificent Maxi Rib, the Magazzù Signature Collection welcomes a revolutionary new model. Powered by three 600-horsepower Mercury V12 Verado engines, it reaches speeds of over 50 knots while flawlessly bringing its owner’s vision to life.
Can a Maxi Rib be equipped with a Pilot House? An intriguing request that Cantieri Magazzù embraced by creating a true jewel. Not only does this model rightfully join the Signature Collection, but it also gives birth to an entirely new category of boats that simply didn’t exist before.
The owner of this Maxi Rib is American and was looking for a high-performance boat that could also be used year-round, even in extremely cold conditions.
This led to the creation of the Targa 45, a tailor-made solution that delivers an unparalleled level of cruising comfort. The Pilot House allows for silent navigation while providing full protection from the elements.
The Lower Deck is fully equipped, featuring a luxurious Master Cabin with separate facilities, as well as a second indoor dinette complete with a table, a fully equipped galley, and a TV. Outside, the aft dinette comfortably seats up to eight guests, who can dine around the central table while sheltered by the sunshade.
The forward sun pad completes the picture of a maxi RIB that once again proves how the Signature Collection is a program capable of bringing to life boats that redefine the very concept of innovation.
The interior design of the MX-13 is the result of an exceptionally refined study, where the shipyard and its architects guided a discerning owner through a creative customization process that led to a truly one-of-a-kind setup, earning its place in the Magazzù Signature Collection.
The interiors of this maxi RIB are entirely clad in fine wood, which, through a special finishing technique, achieves an effect that would be an understatement to simply call luxurious and elegant.
Equally noteworthy is the curved wall with its recessed door leading to the private bathroom—a feature that alone speaks volumes about the level of quality at Cantieri Magazzù, which is far closer to that of superyachts than to the rest of the market.
