Marina di Varazze embraces technology and innovation to improve the yacht owners’ experience: from the berth quotation request to departure, all services can be requested online.

The Marina of Varazze is also going digital, digitizing its management procedures involving every stage of the contact and relationship process, simplifying and making its services and information more accessible. Everything you need, from contact requests to bookings, is managed through an app, where you can automatically communicate your crew and boat details using the camera on your smartphone.

Marina-di-Varazze-appTo enable users to easily use all services, an application, the My Marina App, has been developed. From your smartphone, you can request and receive a quote; sign a contract; and send requests for assistance during your stay, from arrival until departure. App My Marina is an innovative and efficient tool that facilitates contact and relations between users and the Marina di Varazze staff, who provide timely assistance at every step.

Integration of the Marina’s systems with the App will continue apace on both the operational and administrative fronts, making it possible, for example, to navigate the boat independently right up to the berth thanks to constantly updated information, GPS tag of the berth, and online payment of all orders: from short transits to annual contracts.  Furthermore, social media, information channels and interactive maps are available in the My Marina app to make your stay in the port easy and pleasant and to help you find your way around on arrival, plan your experience in advance and being kept up-to-date on events and initiatives.

Another interesting feature is the possibility of having your order and payment documentation always up-to-date and at your fingertips with automatic alerts

“After a season entirely dedicated to the renovation of the Marina‘s residential facilities,” explains Italo Bogliolo Vice Director of Marina di Varazze, “the time had come to take advantage of all the opportunities that the digital world offers to improve procedures for requesting quotations and bookings, managing and controlling contracts through to electronic signatures, access to services and information, contacts and notices. All this is now possible for our customers, both existing and potential, who have user-friendly, comprehensive and highly custom-made interfaces to enjoy their stay at the Marina to the fullest.”

“The project took over a year to complete,” explains Rachele Limosani, Head of Sales and Marketing at Marina di Varazze. “The innovative scope, compared to what has already been achieved by other facilities, consists in having a highly customised system, resulting from a careful analysis of the requirements and working methods peculiar to our reality and able to take into account the specific needs of our customers. Everything is then integrated with the My Marina App, to the development of which the Marina di Varazze team has significantly contributed, representing one of the ‘pilot’ marinas.
