Pardo Endurance 60 Captivates across the Channel with Miami Debut

3 mins read

What’s in a name? Sometimes everything, as is evident with the elegant and eco-sustainable Endurance 60 – the first of the Pardo Yachts collection to support long-range journeys capable of 1, 448 kilometers (900 miles). Launched this past September at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the E60 (its shorted moniker) was awarded the Best Innovation honor from The World Yachts Trophies 2021 organized by SG Publications.

The aquatic visionary – with an interior and exterior effortlessly connected by the creation of flowing air space – captivated yachting enthusiasts during her “across the Channel” debut from the 16 -20 of February at the Miami International Boat Show (MIBS).

Pardo surfoardRok Babarovic, business development manager, discussed the phenomenal reception from the United States Market – Pardo really is in a class of its own. Demand has been extremely high and continues to exceed all capacities. We are thrilled the Endurance 60 has arrived, and that we can now present it to our clients; the segment has been a big hit and we are looking at deliveries into the end of 2023.

Another equally big hit Babarovic spoke of was the Miami debut of Pardo’s new collaboration with Lift Foils, the fast-moving electric surfboards from the innovative family run business operating out of Puerto Rico. Making a big splash in the world of technology, the fun-in-the-sun Lift Foils fabricated with wings made of high-strength, impact-resistant carbon fiber spotted on the transom decks were quite the attention-getters, and will be an exciting new option.

But come Friday evening… attention shifted from Lift Foils to fiesta-time! As the sun settled and the Magic City turned to dusk, Pardo Yachts did the absolute opposite, lighting up the night transforming Ramp C into a soiree filled with smiles, spirits and smooth mesmerizing grooves to celebrate the US premiere of its towering crown jewel.

Her fabulous rendition of Elton John’s “Rocket Man” remains on re-play in my head. Guests arriving on empty stomachs after an enduring day of yacht hopping and shopping were also treated to a delectable spread by Daniel Lai Concepts; the Jamaican patties received the most praise.

The pier surrounding Pardo where the Endurance 60 was joined by her three smaller Italian walkaround siblings: the Pardo 38, Pardo 43 and Pardo 50, was a scene of epic enjoyment. It was by chance each craft (in order by size) possessed the following names – Prosper, Utopia, Afterdark and Famiglia – what was not by chance, was the fact there couldn’t have been four more fitting appellations to define the memorable affair.
