3 mins read

Prestige Yachts is set for a grand debut at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte. The international multihull exhibition, scheduled from April 3-7, will host for the first time the booth of the French shipyard, which in recent years has distinguished itself for investing heavily in the development of motor-powered catamarans, creating iconic and luxurious boats that are experiencing extraordinary success. More specifically, Prestige Yachts will showcase two of its flagship models at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte, namely the innovative M48 and the flagship M8, aiming to showcase Prestige’s pioneering spirit in motor catamaran construction in the best possible light.

Prestige Yachts M8, the sumptuous cruising yacht

The M8, flagship of Prestige Yachts, offers an unparalleled experience to live in perfect harmony with the sea, redefining onboard wellness standards. This 19-meter-long catamaran, equipped with extraordinary finishes, is a true floating apartment, boasting a spacious and luxurious living area of 300 square meters, the merits of which we extensively listed in our sea trial.

Extremely captivating is the extraordinary hydraulic platform, which, with its compass-like movement, can be experienced both as a terrace extending from the lounge and as a beach area, offering a width exceeding 4 meters, a depth of approximately one and a half meters, and three configuration possibilities (submerged for sea bathing, aligned with the garage, or raised to extend the main deck).

Another highlight of the Prestige Yachts M8 is her 16-meter flybridge, featuring modular furniture that allows the owner to create cozy conversation corners, sunbathing areas with chaise lounges, or accommodate ten people for dinner.

The catamaran can be configured with four or five cabins, in addition to crew cabins located at the bow. The largest spaces include a 50-square-meter salon and a 30-square-meter master cabin. Regarding the propulsion system, the standard setup of the M8 includes two Volvo Penta D8 600HP diesel engines, providing a maximum speed of 20 knots at 2900 rpm. By halving the speed, you can enjoy a range of up to 1,000 nautical miles, which makes the M8 by Prestige Yachts a decidedly serious cruising boat, capable of offering spaces and comforts typically found only on large superyachts.

M48 : harmony and comfort

The M48 is the first model in the Prestige Yachts M-Line range which revolutionized the concept of motor catamarans, pioneering a path from which there has been no turning back.

The M48 is a smaller catamaran compared to its predecessor, with a length of 15 meters, yet it doesn’t compromise on any comforts. In particular, this multihull offers spacious, bright spaces characterized by maximum comfort, allowing for leisurely and harmonious navigation to fully enjoy all the pleasures of life at sea in an elegant environment.
