RIO YACHTS: ITALIAN STYLE AT THE NEXT CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL AND GENOA INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Italian Style will be on display in all its glory at the next international boat exhibitions. Rio Yachts, one among the most appreciated Italian brands in the world, will indeed join both the next Cannes Yachting Festival and Genoa International Boat Show.

This participation reflects the habits of the shipyard which, boasting a considerable presence in the worldwide scenario, doesn’t want to refrain from showing its products at home. The Mediterranean‘s boat shows are therefore the perfect occasion for the Bergamo-based yacht builder to show its beautiful boats to the audience.

For over 50 years, Rio Yachts has been building thousands of recreational and professional boats. Since its foundation in 1961, the company’s innovation ambitions have always been clear. The then Avionautica Rio built both gliders and motorboats as a proof of a remarkable skill in the segment of fluid dynamic that characterizes their hulls still today.

Powered with Chris Craft and Rolls-Royce engines, those wonderful successful motorboats had charming exotic names like “Colorado” , “Paranà” and “Espera” that the shipyard still continues to use for its new boats, as a further proof of how experience is the key element in the manufacturing of high-quality modern boats.

Boats of these lines will be the great protagonists at the upcoming boat shows scheduled for next September.

More specifically, Rio Yachts will join the next Cannes Yachting Festival with three recently launched models on display along jetty C.

The largest model is the Paranà 38, a 12-metre sporty soft top with great seaworthiness and performances we tested some weeks ago. Well-built, this real “holiday machine” offers a perfect balance between interior and exterior spaces.

Hull number one was launched in 2015 and the line is very successful still today especially thanks to her extraordinary price-performance ratio.

Equally interesting is the Colorado 44, designed to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the company. Openly inspired by the Rio 42 Air, this 14-metre sporty powerboat features a huge cockpit positioned in direct communication with the living zone.  The Rio Colorado 44 has the ability to “multiple” spaces while minimizing the distinction between the two environments that, however, are separated by a genial sliding door. This extraordinary solution enables the owner to “shape” the end use of his yacht according to his real needs.

Finally, the Colorado 56, the flagship of the exhibition, is a pure open offering impressive comfort standards without never sacrificing her sporty soul. The element characterizing this luxurious boat is the curved tempered glass door with mirror finish positioned between the interior living space and the cockpit. Disappearing into the ceiling, the door actually removes any border between the two areas for an amazing open space.

At the next Genoa International Boat Show, Rio Yachts will welcome its visitors offering the best of Italian Style at jetty F.
