About the Sessa Key Largo 40

In addition to being aesthetically beautiful, elegant and aggressive, the Key Largo 40 – the great 2021 novelty from the Italian shipyard along with the Fly 68 Gullwing – is so spacious and modular that she perfectly embodies and even goes beyond the abstract concept of “open”, a concept that, on board the Key Largo 40, is more concrete than ever.

Let’s start with the cockpit: extraordinarily large and welcoming, thanks to the wide teak decking, two sofas (one of which is L*shaped) and an extendable table, it can turn into a floating salon through the overturning of the side electro-hydraulic bulkheads outwards, thus expanding the cockpit which, in turn, integrates contiguously with the stern beach area. Furthermore, the single sofa can be moved and joined to another armchair, thus creating a single U-shaped sofa in the middle of the cockpit, now at its maximum extension, or a super sundeck, when the coffee table is lowered and covered with cushions. In short, the Key Largo is much more than what she seems and offers an osmosis with the sea that has never been experienced before.

In order to enjoy the sea in all its facets, the boat layout includes a modular cockpit with surprisingly large living spaces located in direct contact with the seaSessa Marine Marketing Manager explains – The Key Largo 40 is therefore a versatile boat, also suitable for larger families. In fact, she is offered with a multitude of material and colour options, giving the owner the possibility to express his own taste and personality”. Efficidently protected by high bulwarks and an elegant handrail that envelops the entire perimeter of the bow, the side-decks lead to the huge bow sundeck that represents a real open-air solarium.

Featuring a fully-equipped and technologically advanced steering console, a large windscreen with excellent view and a triple enveloping and ergonomic seat, the helm station is a particularly well-designed space. “Sessa Marine has always paid particular attention to the steering console, especially on the new KL40, where the main focus is on the ergonomics of the pilot seat and the console follows the sophisticated style of the boat, in a combination of functionality and refinement. Our wish is to give the owner a unique feeling with his own boat”.

The Key Largo 40 is a world to be experienced even below deck, where a large hallway, including a galley on the starboard side, leads to the master cabin which, demonstrating that this yacht is a cylinder of surprises, can become a dinette thanks to the central folding table, made  incredibly bright and evocative by the panoramic hull windows. The lower deck, with its elegant and sophisticated design, is completed by a VIP cabin with double bed and a comfortable toilet, with a window overlooking the sea.

For Sessa Marine, the contact with the sea is essential, as demonstrated by the restylings carried out in recent years also

in the interiors, with a panoramic hull window that floods the lower deck with a great amount of natural light while offering an incredible view: a real window on the sea”.To give an even more aggressive look to the boat, the shipyard envisages the possibility of mounting a sporty T-Top in carbon fiber, a material that significantly reduces its weight, while maintaining the same sturdiness.
