THE FIRST PICTURE OF NEW 1414 DEMON, THE FRAUSCHER’S FLAGSHIP

3 mins read

Waiting for the official presentation at the Nautical Exhibition of Düsseldorf, in January 2016, the Austrian Shipyard Frauscher shows the first pictures of its new flagship, 1414 Demon.

It is the first time for Frauscher: 1414 Demon is in fact the first over 10-metre cruiser boat designed and made by the historic Austrian shipyard, which conserves its traditional style anyway. Like for 858 Fantom and 747 Mirage, the boat design has been entrusted to KISKA Studio and many typical characteristics of the shipyard are proposed again: for example, the carbon fibre side blades which hire the engine vents, the dark windscreen without frame or the lateral profile similar to that one of a racing car.

The hull design, too, has been entrusted to a historic partner, Harry Miesbauer, who designed all the latest Frauscher hulls by maintaining the same style: the flat bow with vertical wheel, an aggressive astern V and a double step in the keel. All features which allow excellent performances, safety and navigation comfort.

Another typical Frauscher’s characteristic is the arrangement of interiors, typically asymmetric, of 1414 Demon. Two double cabins: one bigger astern and a second one under the dinette. Only one bathroom, with a separated shower, and a little kitchen. Interiors are high enough (up to 1,96 metre high) and they offer the possibility to install air conditioned and many entertainment systems.

Outside, there are a lot of standard supplies, all arranged in a very comfortable cockpit: coffee bar, washbasin, fridge, freezer and retractable top.

As regards the engine, Frauscher proposes two solutions: two 8.2 MAG HO DTS 430 horsepower Mercruiser engines, two Racing 8.6 1040 horsepower Mercruiser engines, two D6 Turbodiesel 400 horsepower Volvo Penta engines.

You can customise your boat and make it more appropriate to your needs by choosing a large range of optionals: bow propeller and manoeuvre joystick, with Skyhoop virtual anchoring system and automatic pilot, allow a very simple navigation, while a 1200-litre tank offers a great navigation autonomy. You can also choose an electric expandable gang-board, which can be used also as boarding ladder, and a tender garage under the astern sunbathing place.

To be informed about price, you can contact the Feltrinelli shipyard in Gargnano del Garda, Italian importer for Frauscher. The first boats will be delivered in 2016.
