Created by Aquila Power Catamarans—an American brand born from the partnership between Sino Eagle Group and MarineMax—this model aims to meet the needs of those seeking a fast and versatile vessel capable of blending driving thrills with onboard comfort.

Following its world premiere at the 2026 Palm Beach International Boat Show, the Aquila 45 Sport is now gearing up for its European debut at the Sardinia Boat Show. The event is scheduled to take place in Porto Rotondo from May 7 to 10, where the 45 Sport will be showcased alongside the Aquila 32 Sport. Managing the brand’s presence is FC-Yacht, a Cagliari-based company part of the Free Charter Group and the go-to specialist for the import and management of the entire Aquila range in Italy—from sporty day cruisers to ultra-luxury 70-footers.

The Aquila 45 Sport Exterior: Maximum Usability and Great Versatility

At first glance, the Aquila 45 Sport makes its mission clear: wide, well-organized, and above all, truly livable outdoor spaces.

“The uniqueness of the Aquila 45 Sport lies not only in it being a catamaran—and therefore high-performing by nature—but also in the masterful layout of its abundant open spaces,” emphasizes Carlo Orione, CEO of FC-Yacht. “With the fold-down bulwarks open, the beam reaches nearly twenty feet, which is even more usable because the twin hulls provide a level of form stability that is unthinkable on a monohull. This stability is evident even when cruising at 50 knots, powered by a pair of 600-horsepower Mercury V12 outboards. At the same time, however, the Aquila 45 Sport is docile during maneuvers thanks to the practical joystick. It is a truly unique boat.”

The stern area is one of the project’s most successful features. The two outboards are side-mounted to leave a completely clear swim platform in the center, equipped with a convenient boarding ladder. Depending on the owner’s preference, this area can be configured with a double sunpad or, alternatively, a double dinette. Meanwhile, the forward section houses a second dinette protected by a rugged carbon fiber hardtop that, if needed, can be equipped for transporting surfboards or kayaks, or fitted with solar panels.

Everything is served by a perfectly integrated galley, complete with a sink, cutting board, and prep areas for a grill and TV. Practical details abound, such as the hot and cold water shower, stainless steel safety gates on both sides, and ample storage compartments under the seating.

The helm station is a masterpiece of ergonomics and engineering. Featuring a quad-seat setup with individual armrests and cupholders, the console integrates three 16-inch chartplotters, a Fusion Apollo marine stereo system, and a 5-inch C-Zone display. Everything—from the throttles to the joystick and digital switches—is exactly where it should be. The stainless steel steering wheel is tilt-adjustable, and visibility is always excellent, whether sitting or standing. Other perks include a practical integrated storage compartment with a USB port, a large space for a toolbox located under the seats, and AC vents that ensure maximum comfort even on the sweltering days.

Moving forward, the protected walkway leads to a welcoming and well-equipped bowrider area, featuring forward-facing seats, cupholders, and dedicated spaces for personal items. Attention to functionality continues here, with large, well-organized lockers and a perfectly integrated anchor windlass.

The Interiors

Below deck, the new Aquila 45 Sport houses a stateroom that further expands the vessel’s possibilities, allowing the owner to plan even extended cruises in maximum comfort. Finished with modern, low-maintenance materials, the cabin features a king-size bed, a full head, and abundant natural light thanks to the large overhead skylight. The attention to detail is clear: reading lights, upholstered panels, power outlets, and an optional lithium battery system that allows the air conditioning to run even without shore power.

Built at the Sino Eagle facility, the Aquila 45 Sport stands out for being entirely wood-free in its structural components. This, combined with a highly controlled production process, guarantees high quality standards and superior resistance to the elements.

Finally, there is a concrete focus on sustainability: the facility utilizes closed-mold technology to limit emissions, advanced ventilation systems, recycled water, and solar panels that cover 70% of all roof surfaces.

Three Exclusive Ways to Become an Owner

Free Charter offers three flexible and accessible programs for becoming an Aquila 45 Sport owner: Rent-to-Buy, Guaranteed Income, and Try-to-Buy.

The Rent-to-Buy program requires a down payment of 20-30% of the purchase price, followed by a monthly fee. The owner can use the boat for ten weeks per year and, after seven years, takes full ownership. During the periods when the boat is available, Free Charter manages the rentals, covering all costs for berthing, maintenance, and insurance.
