Maritimo M55 : the enclosed flybridge where comfort and elegance carve out their own space

If, as an old slogan said, “power is nothing without control”, the new Maritimo M55 is the perfect balance between innovative power and full control.

The latest addition to the M Series is a motor yacht with many aesthetic and functional virtues.

The aesthetic ones are clear: the sharp and aggressive lines, harmonious and elegant at the same time, give the M55 a first-class personality; the functional ones, instead, are revealed once you climb on board: wide spaces both inside and outside, top comfort and excellent navigation stability tested in the insidious Australian seas, where the M55 was created by a team of experienced and tasteful designers.

The enclosed flybridge, in fact, is an important detail that only a daring yet refined designed could perfect implement into a well-equipped boat like this, becoming a winning feature of the whole M series of the ocean shipyard. In this case, the enclosed upped deck makes the boat even more imposing and capable of conveying a feeling of sturdiness, compactness and safety.

Modern design and three luxury “levels”

Large and cozy, the cockpit is connected to the stern platform, which can be also used as a tender garage, thus creating a surprisingly large area that leads to the galley, separated by a glass wall.

The dining area gives access to the main deck lounge. This is an authentic floating salon, flooded with a great amount of natural linght by the lateral panoramic windows. The maxi sundeck in the bow is an additional invitation to the upmost relaxation.

On the fly, the spaces are equally generous: there are a sky-lounge, with U-shaped sofa and a coffee table in the middle, and an enclosed salon with helm station. Everything is protected by a large Hard-Top with sliding glass panels.

Below deck, the volumes are exploited to the maximum both in height, reducing the number of steps as much as possible, and in width, where the master cabin is full-beam, while the double guest cabin uses the space of the bowdeck with the bed head on the starboard bside. There is also a VIP cabin with twin beds and three independent bathrooms, one for each cabin.
