Prestige F5.7, the perfect family yacht: spacious, high-performance, dreamlike

30% of yachts in the 40-60 foot segment bear the Prestige brand. Starting from this fact that positions the brand as the absolute leader in the market, the French shipyard introduced its new Prestige F5.7 to the public, yet another marvel with which Prestige Yachts seeks to consolidate its dominant position. The expectations are high from every angle: climbing on board the boat, launched as a world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, the feeling is that of being aboard a masterpiece, as we had already noted during our recent sea trial. With this yacht featuring an iconic look, Prestige Yachts once again demonstrates its commitment to continuously evolve in order to meet customers’ expectations, fulfilling the dual need for a boat that is perfect for entertainment but guarantees privacy and intimacy when needed.

The Prestige F5.7 thus continues the development of the new generation of the F line, following the international success of the F4.9, launched just last year. This new 57-foot flybridge yacht is characterized by even more spacious shared areas, offering both greater comfort and adequate privacy. The layout features a large cockpit area with wide, enveloping sofas facing a convenient bar; a spacious interior living area with uninterrupted views of the sea and a helm station, and an additional lounge area at the bow with a semi-circular sofa. The dinette is positioned at the stern, offering great convenience during mealtimes, even for those in the kitchen.

The flybridge is also wonderful, featuring a second double helm station, protected by a hardtop. This space is ideal as a stunning terrace with panoramic views, whether you’re lounging or sitting on the enormous L-shaped sofa, which faces a second kitchenette equipped with a grill and sink, or on the lounges positioned toward the bow. The design of the Prestige F5.7 clearly focuses on conviviality, creating fun and comfortable environments where you can enjoy the water and fulfill every desire. However, when you seek a moment of privacy, the Prestige F5.7 offers below-deck spaces crafted precisely for that purpose.

There are four cabins in total, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The master cabin, located forward on a semi-level, features a king-size bed, wardrobe, desk, and private access to a spacious en-suite bathroom with a shower. The VIP cabin also offers a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The sleeping area is completed by a third twin-bedded guest cabin and a small en-suite bathroom, as well as an optional fourth crew cabin, also equipped with its own bathroom.

The finishes of the Prestige F5.7 are highly refined (at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the shipyard opted for a white interior, creating a bright and relaxing atmosphere), and its technical features promise impressive performance at sea. With a length of 17 meters, the boat can reach speeds of up to 27 knots, with a cruising speed of 23 knots, thanks to two Volvo IPS 800 engines.

In conclusion, the Prestige F5.7 is the perfect family yacht, complementing the M Line models exhibited in Cannes, namely the M8 and M48. These models have already become well-established, having recently gained traction in the North American, South American, and Asian markets. We are confident that the same success awaits the upcoming addition to the M Line, the Prestige M7, which will be officially unveiled at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January 2025. We can’t wait to share more details with you.
