Rio Yachts, the historic Italian shipyard founded on the shores of Lake Iseo in 1961, will join the 59th Genoa International Boat Show for the 58th time with three boats: the PARANA’ 38, the SPIDER 40 and the latest addition of the range, the SPORT COUPE’ 44 .

Rio Yachts – Sport Coupé 44

Rio Yachts Sport Coupé 44The new SPORT COUPE’ 44 is an evolution of the successful predecessor, the Colorado 44, with which she shares the waterlines. The considerable restyling carried out by Rio Yachts revolutionizes the design of the aft sunbathing platform which, wide and comfortable, is the perfect location where to enjoy both the wind and the sun.

Many other changes, both aesthetic and functional, are visible throughout the boat.

The Sport Coupé 44 is a rich performing hard top with aggressive lines, a length of more than 14 meters and very abundant interior and exterior spaces. The teak cockpit is really unique: spacious (8 sq.m) and “completely flat”, it comes together with the helm station in order to enjoy external spaces with friends and guests.

It features a large sofa, a sun lounger, two tables, a concealable tv and a practical external galley equipped with a sink, a glass-ceramic cooktop, a fridge and a microwave oven, separated by a concealable door that can be closed to enjoy the full benefits of the air conditioning during the hottest days, lock the craft more securely, or simply offer more privacy when enjoying a quiet dockside drink; but when open it almost disappears completely to the right, creating one large open space.

The helm station has a glass sliding roof, a side window and long side glazing that let in air and light and offer great views.

The stern platform is spacious with optional hydraulic controls to lift the tender or the jet ski.

Sport Coupe’ 44 is powered by twin Cummins QSB 6.7 shaft drive engines. Alternatively the craft can be fitted with the sterndrive Volvo Penta IPS 600

Rio Yachts – SPIDER 40

A day boat, a pure open, Rio Yachts Spider 40Mediterranean, exciting, innovative, modern, fascinating and functional boat: that’s  “Spider 40”.

13 meters in length and equipped with twin inboard-outboard D4-300 engines, the “Spider 40” reflects the philosophy that has always characterized the boatyard, producing sporty, excellent, high-end yachts. The name itself is reminiscent of the sporty, fun, two-seat cars, perfect to enjoy the good season and ensure that wind-in-your-hair thrill; the very soul of the “Spider 40”, a true “Made in Italy” evidence.

The deck house is streamlined, the handrail is sporty and the spacious cockpit is equipped with a six-seat sofa, a large sun pad area and a small exterior galley with fridge, gas hob and a large concealable table. Below deck, the night area includes four beds and a bathroom equipped with all the necessary features for a short cruise.

The boat is powered by twin Volvo D4 300 engines that deliver a top speed of 38 knots with a fuel consumption of 59 l/h. The cruising speed, instead, is 26 knots with a fuel consumption of 35 l/h.

Rio Yachts – Paranà 38

Rio Yachts Paranà 38The name is the same as the successful progenitor of the RIO catalogue but the new model features innovative elements.

The Paranà 38 is a 12 meters with a sporty style and an innovative design, fully equipped, practical, with great attention to detail, that will surely become the leading model of its category.

The new model follows RIO YACHTS’ tradition of getting the balance between internal and external spaces perfectly right.

The hull livery is white and anthracite grey. It boasts a spacious flat teak cockpit that, using an electric remote control, can be converted into either a large table or a welcoming sunbathing area, depending on the occasion. A comfortable chaise longue and the external kitchen complete this area. The soft top, easily adjustable to let in the light or keep out the summer heat, combines the comfort of a sliding roof with the option of a quasi-total open top. The result is a practical covered cockpit with the line of a motor boat.

Below deck, the space is designed to please even the most demanding customer: two full-beam cabins and two bathrooms, fully equipped galley with convertible dinette, large windows for maximum light, superb true Italian style details and accessories.
