Scanner Marine at Boot Düsseldorf with two jewels from the Envy series

4 mins read

2023 is off to a great start for Scanner Marine, the Novara-based shipyard that has been manufacturing innovative and top-quality solutions for sea lovers for more than two decades, combining the practicality and safety of the inflatables with the comfort and design of boats.
Scanner joined the recent Düsseldorf International Boat Show, held last January 21-29, with two models from the Envy line: the Scanner Envy 1100 TT and Scanner Envy 1200 HT.

Scanner Envy 1100 TT

The Envy 1100 TT has Scanner Envy 1100 HTbeen a major player in the RIB scenario since it was launched a few years ago. The sleek and essential lines make this Rib a perfect compromise between comfort, enjoyment and agility. The main feature of the Envy 1100 TT is the T-Top, which leaves a wide view around the helm station, while at the same time protecting those sitting at the helm during the worst hours of light.

With an overall length of 11 meters, however, this model gives the impression of being aboard a much larger vessel. The elegant T-Top design can be recognized throughout the boat: sleek finishes, teak covering the entire walkable area, wide side-decks giving instant access to the bow, and a large sundeck convertible into a table and C-shaped couch. The stern, too, houses generous spaces, with a large platform and easy access to the water. In the cockpit, just behind the pilot seats, there are a refrigerator and a small galley, in front of which the dinette features a table and U-shaped settee. At the stern, two comfortable and full-beam sunbeds offer the possibility of lying comfortably. Adjacent to the helm station is the companionway leading down below deck. The sleeping zone consists of a double cabin in the bow triangle and a small bathroom with washbasin, plenty of lockers and storage space.

Envy 1200 HT

Scanner Envy 1200 HTBut this was not the only Rib displayed at Düsseldorf. The shipyard, in fact, also exhibited the Envy 1200 HT, larger in size.

Powered by two Yamaha 425HP outboards, this 12-meter boat differs somewhat from the smaller model: first and foremost, it features a Hard Top, and not a T-Top like its predecessor. The advantage lies in the fact that the hard top joins with the front windshield, sheltering the steering console not only from the sun but also from the elements. Moreover, this configuration originates a large sunbathing platform in the bow, which is conveniently accessible from the walkaround side-deck via a step. In the middle, a sundeck with a translocatable backrest creates a dinette with a table, which can seat up to 4 people comfortably; just behind the pilot seats, there is a cabinet with a refrigerator and galley. Below deck, spaces are equally remarkable, including a large cabin with a double bed and a spacious head with separate shower stall.

Scanner Marine

Overall, the whole Scanner production shares some key points: elegance, attention to detail, clean and simple design, and huge spaces that you would not expect from boats of this size. Last but not least, the hull: designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions, it is able to give a lot of satisfaction, safety and enjoyment to the owners.

The year 2023 is off to a very good start for the company, which will unveil big news later this year that we can’t wait to discover.
