INFLATABLE BOATS AND RIBS

Envy 1300: the new jewel from Scanner Marine has come

Scanner Marine does it again. In a world premiere, the shipyard led by the Montemitro family reveals, exclusively for The International Yachting Media, some details of the new Envy 1300, the latest star in the Envy range. A maxi rib designed to fill the gap between the Envy 1200 and the Envy 1400, with the 1500 remaining the undisputed flagship. A model that not only broadens the lineup of the shipyard but also redefines the concept of balance between power, comfort, and design.

Envy 1300, the missing link

The Envy 1300 is not just a new addition: it’s the piece that completes an already iconic family. More compact than the 1400 model but with more breadth than the 1200, it represents the perfect choice for those seeking sleek lines, generous spaces, and top-level performance without sacrificing agility. A move that further strengthens Scanner Marine’s position in the maxi rib market, where the brand has established itself as a benchmark of innovation and prestige.

Design down to the finest detail

Explaining the project is Fabio Montemitro, Sales Director and son of founder Donato: “On the Envy 1300 we worked extensively on the deckhouse and console to deliver superior livability”. The results are clear: clean lines, an elegant silhouette, and spaces optimized to make the most of every inch available on board. At both bow and stern, two large sundecks dominate, designed for relaxing cruises or long days at sea. The architecture remains true to the Envy philosophy, blending aesthetics with functionality.

Envy 1300: hull and performance

The deep V-hull with straight bow is a Scanner Marine trademark. A technical choice that ensures stability, control, and performance even in demanding conditions. But the real innovation is in the engines: the Envy 1300 will be the first model worldwide to feature a pair of brand-new Mercury 425HP outboards, destined to set a new benchmark in the sector. Options abound: twin or triple outboards, or stern-drive gasoline or diesel solutions, for a maximum power output of around 1,500 HP.

A constantly evolving range

With the debut of the Envy 1300, Scanner Marine strengthens and broadens an already impressive lineup. From the 1100 to the 1500, now including the new 1300 and the 1400, the Envy family stands out as one of the most complete and ambitious on the market. A growth path that once again places Scanner Marine among the most visionary and dynamic shipyards on the international boating scene.

I was born in Liguria, a stone's throw from the sea, with which I have a special and unbreakable relationship. Since middle school I had clear ideas: I wanted to be a journalist. I like to inform myself, understand what is going on around me and build my own opinion. After a few years in Milan, between study and work, during which I gained work and life experiences, the call of the sea became too strong and I moved back to my home.
