For the moment, Bavaria has presented only few plans but we look forward to see the first renderings of its new project, called “Project DA10”. We know it will be a motorboat the German shipbuilder has already defined “revolutionary”: it will not aim for speed but for comfort, on and below the deck, by combining the best of motor and sailing boats in order to offer a completely new boat concept to the market.
How are they planning it? First of all, thanks to the collaboration with the experts of the Dutch Vripack Studio. In addition to this, Bavaria has decided to collaborate also with a group of journalists, sellers and charter companies in order to collect the different points of view about market needs and reasons. Customers, too, will have the possibility to express their opinion through social networks, where rendering and details will be published. So, there is something innovative in the planning of the boat: not only nautical studies but also the opinions of those who work and live with boats.
The main points of the project are: efficient consumption, comfort, intelligent space arrangements, safety and easy conn. While waiting for the first rendernings and price, the project seems to be a letter to Santa Claus from all shipowners. Bavaria has a long experience in boat planning and construction and they are particularly able to meet the market demands. We’ll see how they will keep their promise.
