MarcoPolo Adventure Yachts, the new brand born from the deep experience of Rosario Alcaro and the creativity of Roberto Delfanti, makes its international debut at the 2026 edition of boot Düsseldorf. The brand enters the international yachting scene with two strong-character models – MP10 and MP12 – both featuring outboard propulsion and composite construction. Two boats that inaugurate a range capable of combining striking design, advanced technology and a strong spirit of exploration.
Exhibited at stand B60 – Hall 4 of the German boat show, the two models immediately conveyed the brand’s dual soul to visitors: the MP10 in a dayboat configuration, designed to enjoy the sea in total freedom, and the MP12 in a cruiser version, conceived for longer voyages and to adapt to any climate. Two different interpretations of the same concept, united by a hull designed to deliver high performance, safety and great versatility, with layouts that can be tailored to the owner’s needs and cruising style.
“The clean, technical design makes MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHTS perfect both as open boats and cruisers. Their versatility comes from the many layout options and from the seakeeping qualities of a hull designed to face any sea condition – explains Rosario Alcaro – MARCOPOLO addresses different cruising styles and markets thanks to flexible layouts that can easily evolve from open to cruiser even years after purchase. These are safe, technologically advanced and high-performance boats, designed both for more adventurous owners and for the most demanding families”.
MP10 and MP12: two models. two personalities
Although the difference in length is just two metres, the first two MARCOPOLO models actually embody two very different personalities, clearly highlighted by the configurations chosen for their debut at the Düsseldorf boat show.
On one hand, the MARCOPOLO MP10 is an asymmetric open walkaround, with a wide side deck on the port side and a substantial hardtop that shelters the helm station and the galley module. On the other, the MP12, presented in a cruiser version, is designed for longer-range cruising and for use in all weather conditions. The interiors feature a second living area, the galley and the helm station, offering comfort and functionality even during extended cruises.
Both models are powered by outboard engines, specifically selected by MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHTS to ensure high performance, easy handling and straightforward management. In particular, the MP12 can be fitted with up to three 450 hp engines, while the MP10 accommodates a maximum of two. The boats displayed at boot were equipped respectively with three 400 hp outboards and two 300 hp units.
A shared feature of both boats is the presence of fold-down bulwarks, which extend the aft area, together with a structure that protects the entire outboard zone, topped by a sturdy rollbar with safety grilles safeguarding the stern platforms.
The larger dimensions of the MP12 (12.70 metres in length and 4.05 metres in beam) allow for the integration of a modular aft section, dominated by a spacious sunbathing area with an adjustable backrest facing the dinette. Two extendable tables make it possible to comfortably host numerous guests. More compact in size (9.96 x 3.05 metres), the MP10 instead features a dinette with a tilting and fold-down backrest, which can be used both as seating and as a sunbed.
Below deck, the MP12 offers a highly versatile layout with a convertible dinette, a forward owner’s cabin fitted with two large wardrobes, a bathroom with separate shower, and two single berths aft. The MP10 impresses with its interior livability, featuring a convertible forward dinette, a double cabin aft and a generously sized bathroom with shower.
At the bow, the MP12 is served by two comfortable side decks leading to a relaxation area with a large sunpad and two transformable seats. The MP10 also offers a generous forward sunbathing area.
“The flared bow, which partly recalls military vessels, is not just a stylistic choice but significantly increases the usable space on board, making the bow area surprisingly welcoming”, concludes Roberto Delfanti.
Exclusive materials and refined colour schemes
From a colour and décor perspective, both MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHTS models stand out for their light, airy tones in the lower areas, while the deck and hull are finished in Steel Grey, enhanced by a black band running along the bulwark. “The combination of Steel Grey with a Total White hardtop is a distinctive feature of the range”, explains Delfanti.
The upholstery is made of Space Shell, an innovative material used in the aerospace and motorsport sectors, capable of limiting heat transfer and ideal for more exposed areas such as sunpads and seating. The interiors, on the other hand, are finished in Dinamica, a technical upholstery derived from the automotive industry, appreciated for its lightness, durability and soft-touch feel.
MARCOPOLO ADVENTURE YACHTS: strength, reliability and performance
The hulls of the two MARCOPOLO models were designed using advanced CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis, ensuring stability and balance even at high speeds. The MP10 features a hull profile with two steps on the running surface, while the MP12 incorporates three. Construction is entrusted to 3AF Shipyard, which uses high-quality fiberglass weaves to ensure strength and lightness. On the MP12, the use of carbon fibre is planned for the uprights and the hardtop, providing additional support in terms of weight reduction and structural rigidity.
Great attention has also been paid to sustainability, with hull structures made from recycled PET and bulkheads and furniture components in honeycomb polypropylene, a lightweight, high-performance material derived from the aerospace and automotive industries that ensures an exceptionally high level of strength and flexibility.
Every detail – from the materials to the hull lines – is the result of precise three-dimensional analysis, with the aim of achieving the best possible balance between strength, efficiency and lightness, values that define the DNA of MarcoPolo Adventure Yachts.
