SilverCat heads to the Caribbean

Known worldwide for its motor catamarans with innovative design and surprising comfort, SilverCat lands in the Caribbean with three new custom 34-foot models. A major step forward for the Gulf Craft Group brand, which in recent years has carved out an increasingly important place on the international yachting scene with a range designed for those who truly live the sea.

Designed to ensure maximum comfort in all weather and sea conditions, SilverCat catamarans deliver exceptional stability underway, reduced fuel consumption, generous deck spaces, and a uniquely close connection with the sea. They prove to be outstanding allies in every situation: from fishing trips to days on the water with friends or family, all the way to more traditionally commercial uses.

At the heart of SilverCat’s philosophy lies deep respect for the sea and for those who experience it every day. This approach is strongly championed by Mohammed Hussein Alshaali, President of Gulf Craft and a passionate fisherman, whose firsthand experience translates into boats that are robust, easy to use, and above all highly performant.

As already mentioned, the new models are specifically designed for the Caribbean, where navigating means maneuvering through shallow waters, open channels, and remote anchorages. Agile, comfortable, and fuel-efficient, these models stem from the shipyard’s experience in similar markets such as the Maldives, Seychelles, and Indonesia, and are built to meet the daily challenges of island life without giving up the pleasure of fishing, exploring, or simply enjoying the sea.

SilverCat: the models delivered in the Caribbean

More specifically, the SilverCat 34CC delivered to the Bahamas is a true fishing machine, designed by fishermen for fishermen, capable of perfectly combining practicality, top-level performance, and impressive range. The layout is that of a pure fisherman, featuring a large hard top for maximum sun protection, generous spaces dedicated to fishing equipment, and twin 300-horsepower outboard engines capable of pushing the boat up to 50 knots. Ideal both for offshore navigation and for shallow waters, this catamaran ensures excellent stability and high performance even in the most demanding conditions.

In the British Virgin Islands, instead, the spotlight is on the SilverCAT 34HT, aimed at the luxury charter market. The enclosed helm station, galley, and bathroom compartment make it perfect for enjoying the sea in total comfort, from underwater explorations to island-hopping cruises, always ensuring stable and well-protected navigation.
